Book Giveaway: Camping British Columbia

This week, I’m pleased to give away a free copy of Camping British Columbia by Jayne Seagrave to one lucky, random reader. It’s never too early to start planning next year’s summer camping vacation (although I don’t suggest buying the hot dogs quite yet).

If you remember, several weeks ago we spoke with Seagrave to discover the best BC camping spots for families. This book expands on the theme, although “Camping British Columbia” is not family-specific. Seagrave’s book offers photos (black and white and full-color) of every BC region’s provincial and national park campgrounds and includes the facilities, rec activities and any additional info that may sway you one way or another. One campsite has fresh fruit stands nearby — while another offers a sandy beach.

There’s a short section with tips on camping with kids, suggested camping tours (21 days in BC campgrounds? Yes!) and cool tidbits of info, such as where to pan for gold in BC’s campgrounds.

Would you like this book? Of course you do! Just leave a comment below (make sure your address is accurate) by Tuesday, October 12, 2010 and I’ll draw ONE random winner on Wednesday the 13th of October. Be patient though, I have to hand-approve all messages to slow down the sp*mmers. If you don’t see your message posted after a day, try posting it again.
