Media, Speaking and Will You Write a Post for Me
Media: I’m available for media interviews on camping in the Pacific Northwest and BC, kid-friendly restaurants, attractions and hotels throughout the region, best destinations for the upcoming break, or my 2010 book, Northwest Kid Trips. My appearances have included chats with Seattle’s KING5, The Bend Bulletin and The Vancouver Sun-Times.
Speaking and Consulting: I can help advise your CVB, hotel, restaurant or attraction on how to attract, welcome and engage families through programs, marketing and social media. I’ll show you how family loyalty can keep you top-of-mind during the vacation travel planning season. I offer assessments, workshops, casual meetings and formal speaking events. No preferential editorial treatment will be given to clients, but your business will grow.
Coaching and Classes: If you’re someone who wants to break into the travel-blog field, make existing your blog a little better or perhaps you want to go freelance pro — chat with me about my hourly coaching rates or online classes.
Will You Write a Post for Me? As a freelance professional, I don’t write for free. I make exceptions for post-exchanges with another blogger or when I’m blogging for a small-scale (sole-proprietor) bloggy business. If you’re seeking advertorial, please see the advertorial guidelines. If you’d like to see my professional clips, please visit http://www.lorashinn.com and e-mail me at lora AT lorashinn.com. I’ve written articles for a wide cross-section of publications, including Parenting, KIWI, Urban Farm, E: The Environmental Magazine, Body + Soul and AAA Journey.
